In July 1982, the firm was started by Peter Edwards and James Lynch, trading as Edwards Lynch Pty. The business was located at premises on the corner of Broun Ave and Coode Street, Bedford. In June 1986 the partners went their separate ways, with James Lynch moving to Kalamunda and Peter Edwards remaining in Bedford under the name of Peter Edwards & Associates Pty. Since then the practice has grown considerably. Pauline Howatson joined the firm in July 1992 and became a partner in July 1998 when the practice relocated to Brockman House, 143 James Street Guildford. Peter Edwards retired in 2010 and Pauline took control of the whole practice. The name was changed in 2012 to pHaccts accountants.
